Endless virtuosity and boundless musical energy. This is what you can expect from Forq’s concert, a combination of great musicians with experience from a number of leading groups.

Keyboardist Henry Hey, the only founding member of Forq, had played with David Bowie and Empire of the Sun. Experienced names continue to abound in this group. Hey has brought in guitarist Chris McQueen – who has played in Snarky Puppy and Bokanté – and second guitarist Jordan Peters boasts collaborations with Jon Batiste and Lauryn Hill. Bassist Eli Menezes has also played with the latter, while drummer Jason “JT” Thomas joins the line-up with a shared history in the aforementioned Snarky Puppy.

Virtuosity alone is not the focus of Forq’s concerts. The primary focus is always a unique expression and a musical experience that the audience will truly remember. An intersection of infectious grooves, catchy harmonies and melodies that stay in your head for a long time. That’s one way of describing this music.
